I have a problem...and here it is..

I am tring to run X on a SPARCstation 1+.  When I type xinit I get the 
error...

Fatal server bug!
no screens found
XIO:  fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) on X server "(null)"
      after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
      The connection was probably broken by a server shutdown or KillClient.

I can't figure out what is going on.  Anybody have any ideas or suggestions.

PS. It is X11 release 4.
