Lines: 20 Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has a way of finding out how many colors are currently being used on a screen? I want to make a private colormap for my application, and I don't want the screen to go "nuclear" when my colormap takes over. I've found out how to copy x amount of colors from the default colormap, but would like to use x as an upper limit. ie. Copy at most x number of used colors from the default colormap, but if x number of colors aren't being used, then copy only the ones that are being used. Any Help would be most welcome. Thanks, Curt -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curt Vandetta College of Oceanography curt@oce.orst.edu Oregon State University
