CS Dept, Ithaca NY Lines: 22 I need to find a graphical editor (ala MacDraw, Fig, Idraw, ...) which is: 1) User friendly. The interface must be intuitive to non-technical users (Fig is not). In addition there is must be 2) Well Documented. An extensive tutorial manual is best. I cannot find any Idraw documentation; MacDraw would fit the bill, but we need 3) Complete LaTeX compatibility. No laserprep files please, we must be able to use psfig. Finally, we need 4) X11R4 compatibility. Our department uses Suns and DecStations. We do not want to use a WYSIWYG text preparation system or anything else which would take us away from standard LaTeX. We just want our staff to be able to integrate a few figures easily. If you have any recommendations to make, please send them to me. I'll post the top ranking packages. Micah Beck Cornell CS Dept.
