From: emv@math.lsa.umich.edu (Edward Vielmetti) Path: math.lsa.umich.edu!emv if you keep a full list of moderated newsgroups you should update the comp.archives line to read comp.archives archives@math.lsa.umich.edu instead of comp.archives comparc@twwells.com this is set up and in place at least at uunet and ohio state, but I'm not sure who all keeps track of things on various sites. it has been updated for the monthly posting. rather than posting new software announcements to comp.archives, it is generally best to post them directly to the newsgroups of interest. be certain to incorporate the phrase 'anonymous ftp' if that is relevant. if you want to be doubly sure that it'll get to comp.archives, drop a copy in the mail to me. I find it easier to repost than to post from mail given the tools I have.
