You probably have the wrong video card.  It works fine on a Hercules card, but
I tried it under simcga (Color Graphics Adapter simulation program) and I got
the error you mentioned.  I didn't see the hardware requirements stated
anywhere.  It would be nice if we knew what kind of equipment that the binaries
posted require to run.
