Joe, you asked on the net about genealogy programs.  I have a recommendation
that you should consider.  It is a program called Personal Ancestral File
from the Mormon Church.  It is probably one of the best buys in software
available considering the power of the program and the cost.  The price is
$35 including postage.  I can send you a brochure on this if you will send me
your address.  You can order with an order form that I can send you
or you can charge it (but they charge $2.00 more for the 1-800 phone
order).

Disclaimer:I don't work for the church but I think very 
highly of the program.  I keep a ancestral chart on my wall at work
and keep brochures for the program in my desk.
