If anyone reading this newsgroup has used 4DOS or has knowledge of it, please E-mail your comments to me. They would like $50 to register it which seems a little steep BUT it seems (I just got it yesterday) like an VERY good piece of software. Are these first impressions of mine correct? What are some other user's opinions of this software? Thanks very much in advance. Oh yes, it is most certainly worth it! I've been using it for a few months now, and I feel crippled when I have to go back to Command.com (but then, dont we all? 8) Anyway, it does what it says, and reliably. The program is a little bigger than COMMAND.COM, but with EMS/XMS/Disk swapping, it actually *saves* you memory! I've been using it on simulated EMS, and it has never failed me. The command line history is a winner too, as is the Alias feature. In short, the only things I can find to say about it are positive ones. I think you'll be well pleased!
