  You may want to check out MicroEMACS?  Its available via FTP from
Simtel20.  Ive used various versions over the years and found it to be
a very good editor.  The current author has added new features such as
MicroSpell for spell checking.  The latest version out I know of is
3.10 but I only have 3.9j (or i or some letter).
