Don't make the mistake of learning an editor which you will have to un-learn a year down the line. Learn Emacs, in any flavor, instead. If your system doesn't have it, make them get it. Life is too short to waste switching between buffers, insert and command mode, and the shell, when you can have multiple windows, subprocesses, and automatic parsing of compiler errors (not to mention undoing commands and online help!). Plus you can read news in GNU Emacs, using GNUS. Please. You will be doing yourself a favor. -- Mark Towfigh, Racal InterLan, Inc. towfiq@interlan.Interlan.COM W: (508) 263-9929 H: (617) 488-2818 uunet!interlan!towfiq "The Earth is but One Country, and Mankind its Citizens" -- Baha'u'llah
