They are both use to produce embedded controller software. VERY efficient use of both ram and rom space.... I was really surprised when I turned off all the headers!!!!! As to development time..... C programmers and FORTH programmers of equal proficiency, compared, the FORTH programmer will typically get the job done first.... It was once put to me this way: " C is for people who want to write programs, FORTH is for people who want to get a job done....."
