Message-ID: <9006291445.AA01833@jade.berkeley.edu> Date: 29 Jun 90 14:46:00 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Lines: 16 I am in search of some code that I could insert in front of most postscript jobs so that I get some USEFUL error output from postscript jobs. Right now, if a FrameMaker, SunView DeskSet, or some other program generates postscript directly to the printer, I seldom see any error logging from the transcript or BSD line print spooler software. This makes it difficult to figure out the problem ;-) . I have some code that was once posted to this group which generates 2 lines of error output indicating that an error occurs and what the error is. Unfortunately, it does not indicate a line number or routine where the error occured, etc. Does anyone have something that they really like for this type of thing? -- Larry W.
