There seems to be about 4 user agents including mail and mailx and a couple of transport agents including smail and sendmail. What is the standard method of operation? I get different From: and From addresses using different user agents, and I would like to make them the same among other things. My configuration: ------------------ IP 240 CLIX R3.1 Vr.0.2.41 with TCP/IP and XNS protocols installed. Mail to SMTP-based Unix hosts and UUCP over XNS-based VAX hosts Send answers to: Steve Lodin Advanced Instrumentation Engineering ------------- Delco |Electronics| Corp ------------- \ \ It's who we are Tel: ATT 317-451-8722 GM 8-322-8722 Domain: lodin%koiasvr01.uucp@ee.ecn.purdue.edu or swlodin@koess.gm.hac.com or lodin@plains.nodak.edu UUCP: !pur-ee!koiasvr01!lodin GM: LODIN,SW
