Keywords: Xwindows SuperCard/Hypercard Message-ID: Date: 29 Jun 90 11:24:33 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: Rutgers Univ., New Brunswick, N.J. Lines: 28 Hi Xworld, I have an application that uses intelligent graphic objects in SuperCard. I am thinking of porting it to Xwindows Motif or Openlook. Is it possible to do *animations* in Xwindows?? Also, Is it possible to create graphic objects like a) RoundRects (Rounded rectangles) and b) Polygons c) Triangles in Xwindows?? For people not familiar with Hypercard/Supercard, it is possible to attach a script to any graphic object in Supercard. So you can do stuff like click on a polygon or a triangle and change its shape to a rectangle or double click on it and change its color to red! How can I do this in Xwindows. Are there any widget sets out there that will support stuff like triangular widgets or widgets with *NON-RECTANGULAR* shapes?? E-mail will be MOST appreciated!! --Emuleomo O.O.
