Synd., Cypress Creek, SC Lines: 15 Help, I have inherited an old Compaq Deskpro 16 Mhz machine without a keyboard or hard-disk. I realize that the hard-disk controller is supposed to be Compaq propriatary. It looks like a regular IDE controller to me. Can I plug a regular Conner IDE drive in to the thing, or do I need a Compaq/Conner? What about the keyboard? Can I just buy a regular AT keyboard, or do I have to scratch up a Compaq keyboard?
