I have finnaly got another terminal that I was going to attempt to
use to login to MINIX.  I have not been able to accomplish this.
I know my wiring is ok since I can use Kermit from DOS to talk to the
terminal.

My set-up is:
    PC-MINIX 1.5.10 cross-compiled under Turbo-C
    /etc/rc contains:
           /usr/bin/stty 2400 </dev/tty1
    /etc/ttys contains on the second line:
           1d1
    /etc/ttytype contains
           minix tty1
           minix tty2

I get a 'l' on the terminal running kermit plugged into my COM1 on the
machine booting MINIX when MINIX first goes through the boot procedure.
I HAVE used kermit from MINIX to log onto a MICRO-VAX over a direct connect
using the same cable (but different parameters in the /etc/___ files).

I also see /usr/bin/login running a waiting for FS when I hit F1.

Any ideas as to what I can do? Line speed is set at 2400, running kermit
at 8-bit no parity.
