My wife is an elementary school teacher (6th grade).  We recently got a PC
for our home.  Much software seems to exist for helping students learn
various subjects, but not many for teachers to do their record keeping,
averaging of grades, etc.  I know we could use a commercial spreadsheet,
but I'd rather not learn to program one if I can avoid it.

Does anyone j\know of grading programs for the PC?  Or perhaps know of a
more appropriate newsgroup to ask the question on?  Or know of a guide to
software under which I could look for a topic such as "grading" or "teacher
aids"?
