I have had no problems whatsoever with installation, or of printing ps, dvi, or *roff files. My problem is with printing plain text files with psf. We are currently printing to our apple laserwriter via a serial line with page width at 80 and page length at 66 (in printcap). configks gave me the default page length and width of 77 and 96. When I printed a plain text file with the default page settings, the top of the page was in the correct position, but the spacing between lines was closer than on the serial laserwriter and so more lines were printed to that page. Because of this, part of the last was not printed (ie the top half). I then changed the page length and width to 66 and 80, and printed a plain text file. The result of this was that the top of the page was about 5 lines lower down than it should have been and so the top half (of what I presume was) of the last last line was only printed. In this case, the lines were also closer together than our normal. From what I can gather this is due to the postscript command "moveto" being given numbers that are not big enough. As we only have binaries to psf, there is no way that I can find any more information. Is there anyone out there that has had this problem, and can it be solved??? Any help would be much appreciated.
