Does anyone know of a "practical" algorithm of generating, decoding and
performing error correction with the Golay(23,12) error-correcting codes?

I am currently "wading" through Peterson's book "Error-Correcting Codes".

It is VERY general.  I was hoping to find a more detailed and practical
explanation of the Golay(23,12) error-correcting codes.

Please EMAIL any responses.  If anyone else is interested, then I will
summarize and post the results in this newgroup.
