I need source so I can add interactive help. I obtained a copy of stevie, compiled it (compiled first try, truly amazing) and started hacking. But I was dissapointed to find out that it doesn't use curses or even termcap/terminfo. It's hard-coded for an ANSI standard terminal! I need a version of vi that uses curses.
