To all newsreaders,

	We have an old version of vmstape which does not work
under Ultrix V3.x.

	Does anyone have a version of vmstape, or an ANSI tape
or vmsbackup program which works under ultrix?

	note: Our interest is due to ultrix ltf's (DEC-written
"labeled tape facility") inability to add files to an existing tape
- it only creates new tapes.
