I know of the Personal Iris at 25K+ that runs 30K-70K+(can) ray- tracing software (alittle steep for me if not for you) and then ofcourse there's the Mac. Any ray-tracers or paintboxers out there that are fed up working with Ham and the lack of 24bitcolors? Will the Firecracker24 or Toaster be the solution? Are we going to have 16mil color *and* broadcast quality now for both ray-tracing and paintbox work? Anyone checked out alternative machines, software, prices? -- Stephen Menzies email: menzies@altitude.CAM.ORG
