Well, for me (not involved in this..) it has taken C= WAY TO LONG to see the
need to up the graphics. Nothing is futile until they ship.

I am sure they would. But for what its worth , in this case (I >ABHORE<
these types of hacks) that standard would push development cost up to high.

No one is gonna animate on it , no one will draw on it .. ALL MOSYT OF US
WANT ARE 256 COLOR NON HAMS 800x600 >STATIC< screens for QRT output. No
standard needed for that at all.
