My single largest problem has been obtaining information on AmigaDOS internals. Most of what I know how to do came from hours upon hours of trial and error. The rest of it came from an article that appeared in Amazing Computing covering AmigaDOS packets. Now I have a different project and for the first time I've decided to use file handles. Unfortunately, but not unusual, I do not have any comprehensive material on this topic. Cer- tainly there must be a reference manual by now that covers stuff like this. I don't care about how to use AmigaDOS commands, I want to know how file handles, locks, etc interact. Please, if anyone knows of a good source, hopefully absent of the BS most publishers call AmigaDOS refer- ence material, tell me and if possible where it can be had. Thanks much, Jeff
