When I boot this way, I get a screen with 3 strips of information at the top. The left most "button" on each strip is for enabling or disabling a particular feature. The first strip has something to do with using the floppy drive (I think this is correct, but I am going on memory now). The second strip refers to WB 2.X (for enabling/disabing it) and I do not recall what the third strip states. Well, the only thing I was able to do was to disable WB 2.X and enable booting FROM THE FLOPPY!! This works great, but I if I understood things correctly, I am NOT supposed to have to boot 1.3 from the floppy. It is on the HD (or is it RAM, since I recall hearing something about this being the reason for losing 512K of my RAM). I could NOT affect the bottom strip (the one for which I cannot recall the name). Could someone PLEASE email to me the EXACT step-by-step procedure for booting from the 1.3.2 OS on the A3000? Please be as exact as possible as to what I will see on the screen and what steps I take. Thanks. Scott Sutherland sutherla@qtp.ufl.edu
