Booting between 2.0 and 1.3 requires that you start from a power off
condition. Power down, wait 15-30 seconds to allow RAM dissipation, then
power on and hold down the 2 mouse buttons until you are presented with
the boot menu screen.

The screen you _did_ see is the warm boot menu which allows you to
enable/disable bootable devices connected to your system (temporarily).
