If you use OpenWindows (yes, I know, it's not yet the standard window system) on your Sun, you can run the windows on your Amiga just a well. And as fast, if you're using a Sun-3/50. I wouldn't bet on the speed of this setup if you compare it to a SPARCstation, though.
