Lines: 17 Hello, I would like to connect up my 2000 at home to the Suns at work. Currently I am using Handshake (a pd vt52/102 emulator) in vt52 mode but cannot get a clean connection. Problems include spurious characters appearing randomly, shifts to alternate character sets and sometimes misinterpretation of characters typed. I'm using a 1200 baud modem, but somehow I doubt modem speed is the problem. Anyone have any helpful suggestions ? Also, what does the term Handshaking refer to ? It is an option within Handshake. Another option within Handshake is Flow Control. Explanation ? Yes, I have no documentation. No, I am not very bright. Homer Simpson would be proud of me. Please email atul@cadence.com Thanks in advance Atul
