Your constructive suggestions are welcome. Adding new storage types isn't my idea of "maintenance." ProDOS 8 is "full"--it has almost zero room to grow. Adding links would complicate OS operations more than I've seen anyone indicate here, and using utilities that do block-level access on a volume with links could easily leave the volume corrupted. -- David A.
