You could get the Applied Engineering PC Transporter for about $359.00
A 5.25 TransDrive (AE) costs $189 (single), $286 (dual), $109 (add-on)
I am not sure a 3.5 will work or is available.

With the above hardware your Apple ][e will act like a ms-dos machine.
I think you would be better off and money ahead to just buy a cheap clone,
but it is your money.
