The binaries for NetHack 3.0.9 are now available on linc.cis.upenn.edu,
in the directory pub/NH3.0/atari. If you have patchlevel 8 and are happy
with it (i.e. it isn't crashing on you :-( ) then there's no particular
need to get pl9. There are a few minor bugs fixed (in the handling of
vault guards, for example) in addition to the big bug of not detecting
monochrome monitors correctly (which was causing bus errors for some
people).

I've also sent the binaries to terminator.cc.umich.edu, and they should
be showing up there soon.
