Message-ID: <13954.2688d8f5@max.u.washington.edu> Date: 27 Jun 90 23:04:05 GMT Organization: University of Washington, Seattle WA Lines: 18 A friend of my has an 80 column RGB monitor that he would like to use with the C64. The RGB monitor does not come with a composite input phono-port. Instead It only has one 6 pin DIN port. What he would like to know is whether there is a way to connect the C64 to his RGB monitor? He is thinking of connecting all the color lines together of the RGB monitor to the Video-output pin of the C64. Is this a wise thing to do? Will it work? Is there a better method of doing it? I have noticed that in the newer C64c there is an extract Chroma pin output. Does this extra pin facilitates in the connection to the RGB monitor. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Scott K. Stephen
