I spoke with our system op about this and he informed me that he thought he had removed umodem (xmodem ftp because it was old and most pc's have a newer version of Xmodem. Although others here at U of Toledo have gotten umodem to work, I have not to date. So if youcan find an older version of xmodem (I really do not have a date in mind) you might have some luck.
