What sort of calculations (fixed vs float), running what operating system (BASIC, CP/M, Forth, HPL, HP-UX or Pascal) and on what CPU (68000, 68010, 8 or 12 Mhz)? There is a 98635A floating point card available from HP, that is supported by BASIC, HP-UX and Pascal. The 12 MHz CPU upgrade may also still available. I have also seen adverts for Series-200-compatible 3rd-party 68020 CPU/RAM boards running at higher speeds, but about these I know nothing, and I suspect they only work with BASIC and Pascal.
