I quickly found that when I load it as the primary shell (ie from config.sys) that my pc-cache.com program refuses to load its cache file in extended memory. It claims there is none. If I inhibit swapping in 4dos or force it to swap to disk then pc-cache works but then it is impossible to get 4dos to start swapping to extended (XMS) mem. Has anybody else found this problem with pctools pc-cache and 4dos? please reply.
