Can anybody help me?

I have an AT system with a 40 meg Harddisk and MD-DOS 4.01.
I would like to have the 40 MB in one partition, but FDISK 
only sees 32 MB. I am told I have to change (debug) some
CMOS addresses, but I don't know which ones.
