I went and got a new hard disk and tried to restore the old data to the new hard disk and I get error messages telling me that the disk has errors. Is there any thing special I need to do? Was I supposed to have some history files somewhere? I get the same error messages and 3 different backups I try -- so I don't think that all the disks have the same physical errors. I can reconstruct the data from other disks but using fastback to restore would save me time -- that's why I used it. I usually work in Mac and Unix os so dos mess-ups are not unusual for me. Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks. --Thom .
