Adding 3.5in floppy Message-ID: <91800011@modcomp> Date: 3 Jul 90 17:59:00 GMT Lines: 16 Nf-ID: #N:modcomp:91800011:000:491 Nf-From: modcomp.UUCP!kshaffer Jul 3 13:59:00 1990 I purchased a 3.5" floppy. I have a floppy controller with an external port (for external drives I suppose). The controller currently controls the A: (5.25" 1.2M) and B: (5.25" 360K) drives. I need to get my 3.5" 1.44M to work also. How? Do I need a seperate driver or is DOS smart enough to assign the 3.5 to drive C: and my hard disk to D:? Is there a standard cable I can purchase or do I have to build one special? Any help is greatly appreciated. Ken Shaffer modcomp!kshaffer
