Just today I found out how to get Arknoids running on my hard drive of my
SE without having to boot from a floppy. I removed all my inits/cdevs
and of course it would run. Then put them back one at a time till I found
that only one of the many I have seemed to conflict, that was Backdrop!.
With Backdrop removed I now can run Arknoids from my SE's hard drive. None
of my other inits or CDEV's seemed to conflict with it. Don't know if this
will help but if you have Backdrop in your System folder try removing it 
alone and see if you can boot from your hard drive without conflict.
