Subject: Ghost files from DiskExpress II???

I have a GCC Hyperdrive on which I tried doing a disk optimization using the 
GCC software which came with the drive... it bombed saying that a 
DiskExpress file was locked and that the optimization could not be done. 
I had DiskExpress II on the disk for a few days several months ago but 
deleted it after deciding it was not of use to me. I have scanned every 
folder on the disk and can find nothing having to do with DE II at the 
present time. 

So... did DE II leave something nasty on my hard drive??? If 
so, how can I find it??? How can I get rid of it???

Any help will be most appreciated.
