When I first noticed the problem, I attributed it to my sloppy typing skills and thought that I wasn't striking the keys firmly enough or not at the 'proper' angle. But this 'jamming' problem (just had it there when typing the oh in 'problem') convinced me otherwise. It is very frustrating too. >I reported this to Mac Technical Support in April and they suggested >VersaTerm might be dicking with the keyboard map, but I doubt it (and so Happens anywhere as far as I can tell. Experienced typists actually type 2-handed combinations fastest (see _Expertise in Typewriting_ by Genter in Chi's _The Nature of Expertise_ for a good discussion). >day or two. It's totally real, but elusive. I'd love to find the problem >and get a fix ... Yes, is Mac Technical Support listening? I would like to see this issue resolved as well. - Mike >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------< > Michael Hoffhines | INTERNET: mah@uhccux.uhcc.Hawaii.Edu < > ICS Department | BITNET: mah@uhccux.BITNET < > University of Hawaii | >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------< > "Hey, hey, hey.
