I am using a Mac II with System 6.0.2 using a PCPC 19" Trinitron monitor with 8-bit video card. I have the icons for my frequently used apps stacked vertically on the left side of the screen. They all appear to have smears running from the right side for about a half-inch, fading from gray to invisible. The background is colored. Inside my opened folders, the document icons (uncolored on a white background) do not exhibit any shadow effect, although the open windows themselves do have this streaking, although it isn't as pronounced as with the icons. When I move an icon around, the shadow moves with it. What's happening? -- -- Jeff Nanis "If I told you, I'd have to kill you." Not an official opinion which might get me put in jail.
