Message-ID: <450008@hpnmdla.HP.COM> Date: 29 Jun 90 23:38:29 GMT Organization: HP Network Measurements Div, Santa Rosa, CA Lines: 21 I just finished an introductory class on C++, and before I forget everything completely I'd like to get C++ on my Mac and play with it a little. But I'm wary of getting MPW C++ -- I don't like to spend money for the beta version of a product and then find out the product is virtually unusable because of all the bugs. So for those of you who have the package and have used it, can anybody tell me: Why has MPW C++ remained in beta for so long? How buggy is it? Does anybody have a list of known bugs? Most important: Is MPW C++ ready for "prime time"? Would you use it to write a commercial product? Reply via e-mail, and I'll summarize to the net if there is sufficient interest. Thanks in advance to you all! Dan Pleasant dan@hpnmdla.hp.com
