I had ftp'd the files over from a Sun 3/60 to a MacII. What I had was the data fork of the pict file and the MacOS needs a resource fork as well to recognize the file. I used ResEdit to load the file and when it loads it ask you if you would like to add a resource fork, I did. After that I went into the 'get info ' option and changed the file extension from text to pict. After that I just used the PICTviewer to take a look at the files. They aren't as sharp as on the Sun, but it works. Thanks to everybody for their input on this problem! Mark LeScoezec
