Could someone please make remarks about the feasability of it, or tell me whether it has already been implemented? Since the + and SE screens are low on real estate, and since the region occupied by the screen is a mere fraction of the graphable regions on the macintosh ( (32767*2)^2 ), why not create a "hide" box for each window, which moves a given window into a far off region of the mac drawing space. The window could effectively be left open (in case any window needs to catch any information coming in), and it could easily be retrieved, say, by a menucommand. That could free up a lot of space for those of us who have been left in the dark ages of the 9" monochrome monitor. It could even look like this: ________________________________________________________ | ____________________________ _________ __ ________ __ | ____________________________ | | | __ | | | __ | ____________________________ |___|___| __ |___| | __ | ____________________________ | |_| | __ | | __ | ____________________________ |___|___| __ |______| __ | | ________________________________________________________| Any ideas?
