Lines: 18 Has anyone measured the load a NetBoot client, that is a Cube with a 40Mb local disk for swap/tmp, generates on the ethernet? I would of course expect it to be less than a diskless workstation, but how much less? I realize that the answer to this question is very much site dependent, but I would nevertheless be very much interested in your findings. Please reply to me personally, I'll sum it up for the net if there's interest. [Not related to the above, but please enclose this information if you are kind enough to reply: what's the sum(1) of /sdmach for os 1.0a?] Regards; Bjorn Asle -- Bjorn Asle Valde bav@fiol.uib.no +47 5 544214 Edb-Senteret, University of Bergen, EDMBV@NOBERGEN.EARN Fax: 544299 Thorm.gt.55, N-5008 Bergen, Norway.
