I have deposited the source for a program called Uncompress
at cs.orst.edu in the pub/next/submissions directory.
It is just a simple GUI wrapped around the Unix command
'uncompress' and 'compress'.  This could conceivably be
used as a basis for implementing GUIs for lots of other
Unix commands ala AUX 2.0.  It's not much but may be instructive
or even useful (you can launch it by clicking on .Z files from
the browser).

If anyone has the artistic abilities, I would welcome an Icon for it.
