Here at Mechanical Engineering at Florida International University have 5
Sun 3/80's w/GX `accelerators`.  We have had two of our 3/80's (which are
approx 1 year old) show the symptoms described, i.e. the monitors go dim.

Since we are on maint. we called Sun and they came out and replaced the
GX's and that was the end of that.  We were told that it was faulty GX
boards.  We are now waiting for the same thing to happen on the other 3
3/80's.
