I would be interested in knowing just how fast (or slow) the IPC times are
of the various transputer-based concurrent programming languages
(Occam, Ada, Linda, Strand etc). In particular, the times for a
RPC-like interaction between 2 processes on (i) the same transputer, 
(ii) on adjacent transputers, and (iii) on non-adjacent
transputers.
