I am looking for references on the "inherently fault tolerant"
algorithms.

So far I've found

Bastani, F.B. et al. A Class of Inherently Fault Tolerant 
Distributed Programs,  IEEE Tran. on Soft. Eng. Oct. '88

Dijkstra's initial papers on self-stabilazing systems,

Brown, G.M. (PhD) Self-stabilazing distributed resource allocation


I'd be very interested to hear from you if you know of other 
references, or if you are working on the related problems.

(I'm starting work on PhD, here in Trinity College Dublin, IRL)
