I need to plot an one-dimensional stable manifold and an one-dimensional
unstable manifold of a hyperbolic fixed point of a map in R^2 to demonstrate
that the fixed point is tranversally homoclinic, i.e., the two manifolds
intersect transverally at some points other than the fixed point. 

Before I start to write my own program, I wonder if there are some software 
packages avaliable to the public that perform this kind of task.
